Over 20 states and/or jurisdictions have increased, or will increase, their minimum wage requirement in 2024. The chart below provides a quick reference to compare your employee rates to what is required by state.
Employers will be required to increase employee rates in IPS to meet the new minimum requirements by each states required effective date. The U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division website can be referenced to gain more insight into each state's rules, which may include additional requirements by city and county. In addition, the website addresses minimum requirement for any tipped employees.
