Employers will be required to increase employee rates in IPS to meet the new minimum requirements by each states required effective date. The U.S. Department of Labor's Wage and Hour Division website can be referenced to gain more insight into each state's rules, which may include additional requirements by city and county. In addition, the website addresses minimum requirement for any tipped employees.
